About Ormilon
Ormilon is built by a team with over 25 years of European hosting experience. The same people who founded Qweb in 2002 and later built Snel.com into a leading Dutch cloud provider now run Ormilon. We are registered in the Netherlands (KvK 96124539).
Ormilon is ISO 27001 certified and NIS2-aligned. Our infrastructure is GDPR by design: personal data is processed and stored exclusively within the European Union, with a Data Processing Agreement available for all customers.
AWS and Azure are US-owned hyperscalers subject to American jurisdiction. Ormilon is 100% EU-owned, which means no CLOUD Act risk and full GDPR compliance by design. We also offer zero egress fees and transparent hourly pricing, where hyperscalers typically charge for every gigabyte of outbound traffic.
Our 99.99% SLA applies to network availability and the Ormilon platform. It covers all paid plans across all regions. If we fall below this threshold, you are eligible for service credits. Full terms are in our Service Level Agreement.
Yes. Ormilon B.V. is incorporated in the Netherlands with no non-European parent company, shareholder or investor. There is no entity subject to US or non-EU jurisdiction in our ownership structure.
This means your data is not reachable under the US CLOUD Act, the PATRIOT Act or similar extra-territorial legislation.
At launch we operate in four locations: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Marseille and London. All sites are Tier III or above, with redundant power, cooling and network connections. You choose the region when you deploy.
Yes. Every new account gets a 60-day free trial with €500 in credits. No credit card is required to sign up. You can deploy any product in the Ormilon platform and test it against your real workloads before you commit to anything.
Yes. Ormilon processes and stores all data within the EU. There are no third-party sub-processors outside European jurisdiction. We provide a standard Data Processing Agreement and our infrastructure meets the technical and organisational requirements of GDPR Article 32.
